Ensemble From Georgia

The ensemble "FLYING GEORGIANS" was founded by David Kikvadze, Eter Kldiashvili and Zviad Takaishvili in 1996 at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. One and a half hours program of the ensemble "FLYING GEORGIANS" is one continuous story of the adventure of the Georgian spirit, the change, which took place in its existence.

The ensemble "FLYING GEORGIANS" has appeared in many festivals of different countries: Mexico, USA, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Ukraine, France, Russia, Belarus, China, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic.

Georgian dancers are divided into solo, pair and group. Each dancer has to subordinate to the requirements of a common plan and its expression in the dance. At the same time the performers do not lose their individuality, since several dances demand competition between partners in strength, agility, elevation and bold movements.
